Orchard Lawn Tennis Club
is a small,
friendly club in central Welwyn Garden City serving the local community.
We have over 200 members,
which includes a flourishing junior section. We have three synthetic
grass courts, which have proved to be
a big hit with members and visitors. We offer social and competitive
tennis to our members and various social events throughout the year.
We welcome new members of all ages and abilities. |
Ladies Vets
"Good news! Our ladies won their
first Herts Over 40s Vets match
of the season on January 24th,
beating Rickmansworth 6-2. The
victorious ladies (pictured l to
r) were Clare Smith, Gill
Gunnell, Rae Walter and Elspeth
Heywood. It was great to see
Elspeth back on court following
7 months out with a leg injury -
well done Els!"

Orchard beat a strong Welwyn team 4-0 to
make it through to the semi finals. Well
done to Adam, Simon, Clare and Dani.
On Monday December 14th Orchard
continued their good form by
beating Codicote 4-0 to make it
to our third final in a row. The
Team was Adam, Aleem, Clare
Smith and Dani. Steve Pantall
was chief supporter.
Hertford will be our opponents
in the final.
